Website terms

Effective 9 October 2026.

In force from 9 October 2026.

These are the rules for using the Deadhead Flights website. They are short on purpose. Your flight itself is governed by the charter agreement you sign with the carrier that operates it, not by this page.

Who runs the site?

Charter Jet One, the air charter broker behind the Deadhead Flights name. Deadhead Flights is an air charter broker and is not a direct air carrier. We do not own or operate aircraft; every flight is operated by an FAA Part 135 (or foreign equivalent) direct air carrier in operational control of the aircraft.

Are the prices here real?

They are planning figures. Hourly rates, discount ranges and route examples describe typical market levels so you can get your bearings; none of them is an offer for a particular flight. Real prices move with the aircraft, the operator, the date, positioning, crew and airport costs.

When does a quote become a booking?

Only when you sign a charter agreement with the operating carrier and meet its payment terms. Until then a quote binds neither side. The carrier's name, the aircraft type and the key conditions are shown to you before you sign.

Can a flight become unavailable?

Yes. Every aircraft is subject to the operator's confirmation, and maintenance, weather, crew limits or regulation can take one out of service. Repositioning flights carry an extra condition: if the trip that created one changes, the repositioning flight can move or be withdrawn.

Which taxes and fees apply?

On domestic US trips, the 7.5% federal excise tax and a small per-passenger segment fee for each leg. Abroad, local taxes plus customs and immigration charges may apply. Landing, handling, parking, de-icing, catering, Wi-Fi and crew overnight costs can come on top, and each quote marks which are included and which are estimates.

What if I need to cancel?

The cancellation and refund terms are the ones written into your charter agreement. Read them before signing, and ask us anything that is unclear.

What can't I do on the site?

Submit requests in another person's name, give false trip details, attempt to break or overload the site, or copy it wholesale with automated tools. Links to government sources are there for reference only; their content is theirs.

How far does your liability go?

The information here is general guidance, offered as is. As far as the law permits, we accept no liability for losses that come from relying on an estimate or general statement on this site. The operating carrier answers for the operation of your flight. Liability that the law does not allow anyone to exclude is unaffected.

Which law applies?

The laws of the United States and the State of New York govern these terms, and the courts in New York State hear any dispute about them.

Can these rules change?

From time to time, yes. The date at the top always shows the version in force.
